Close up #5 \ Close up #6 #DV-617- Dark Green Velvet Dress - $65.00 Era - early 1960s Measurements - 42 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 25 inch waist, 36 inches at hips. Label - none Fabric - velvet Cleaning - Dry cleaned Great holiday dress in dark green velvet. The top of the dress is wide and cropped to just above the waist, which is fitted with a wide grograin ribbon band with bow on the front. Staright skirt has no slit or kickpleat. Lined in thin rayon. Metal zipper down the back with snaps on the back of the cropped top. Upper dress under the cropped top is chiffon. Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. Close up #5 #DV-561- Plaid Taffeta Skirt with Pleated Blouse - $35.00 Era - 1980s Measurements - Blouse is 23 inches long, fits 40 inch bust, 17 shoulders, 24 sleeves. Skirt is 35 inches long, fits 30 inch waist, full hips. Label - Evan Piccone in blouse, Applecross & Peale in skirt Fabric - acetate taffeta Cleaning - Dry cleaned This didn't come together as a set but apparently the previous owner wore them together. Blue taffeta blouse by Evan Piccone with low front and wide pleated collar. Overlaps and snaps. Full length sleeves with cuffs. Full pleated taffeta skirt in dark blue with red and greens. Wide waist band, button and hook closures on waist. Both pieces are unlined. Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. Close up #5 \ Close up #6 #V-546- Textured White Paul Sachs Dress - $75.00 Era - 1950s Measurements - 41 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 27 waist, 38 hips Label - Paul Sachs Original Fabric - textured rayon Cleaning - has been hand washed and hung to dry Very pretty white dress in a slightly puckered texture. No seam at waist - vertical darts shape it to your body. Has woven shiny rayon around the neck. Metal zipper down the back. Has belt and sash that hooks. Unlined. The dress is slightly darker around the edge of the neck. Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. Close up #7 \ Close up #8 #DV-327- Brown and Metallic Striped Fitted Dress - $75.00 Era - 1950s Measurements - 42 inches long, fits 38 inch bust, 30 waist, 38 hips Label - none Fabric - rayon and lurex blend Cleaning - Dry cleaned Very nicely fitted dress. It's a lightweight fabric in brown with black grainy lines in it and gold metallic thread. Overlapped neckline with partial seam directly under bust and midway around the waist. Vertical darts for slight shaping. Straight skirt with kickpleat in the back. Dress has partial mesh lining in the bodice and a metal zipper down the back. No belt. Condition - Very good condition. There is a very faint brown spot on lower front of skirt, about 1/2 inch in size with a little tail below it. Another faint 1/2 inch spot below waist darts. It is wide on the shoulders with the edge of the dress open on the shoulders, nude tone mesh strap holds onto shoulder. Short seamless sleeves. There is draping across the front of the bodice. A-line skirt. Metal side zipper, unlined, Boning in bodice for shaping. Condition - Excellent condition. Unworn with store hang tag. Has a few small light spots on shoulders from storage. Close up #7 \ Close up #8 \ Close up #9 \ Close up #10 #DV-394- Green Taffeta Gown with Removeable Full Overskirt - $90.00 Era - early 1960s Measurements - Dress is 56 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 26 inch waist, 37 inch hips. Overskirt is 45 inches long, fits 26 inch waist, 108 inch sweep Label - none Fabric - taffeta Cleaning - Dry cleaned Floorlength Christmas green gown with narrow skirt. Plus a big full skirt with open front that you can hook at the waist, which is also floorlength. Dress has wide, gathered, inset midriff and gathers across the bust. There are two fabric bows on the back of the dress and a fantail kickpleat on back of skirt. Dress is partaily lined in nylon in the skirt, full skirt is not lined. Full skirt is open on the front, straps overlap and hook. Condition - Excellent condition. Unworn with store tag still attached. Close up #5 \ Close up #6 \ Close up #7 #DV-502- XS Bright Pink Organza Dress w/Satin Appliques - $80.00 Era - early 1960s Measurements - 40 inches long, fits 31 inch bust, 25 inch waist, full hips Label - none Fabric - organza, acetate lining, nylon tulle crinoline Cleaning - dry cleaned Dark pink sheer organza over dark pink taffeta. It also has an attached dark pink petticoat under neath. I used an additional petticoat for the photo, which is not included. Thin straps and satin band at waist. The bodice and skirt has large satin flowers appliques with embroidery around them. Condition - Very good to excellent condition. Light wear along the top edge on the back of the dress. There was some light fade on the organza under the arms, but I refolded and stitched the organza so that the fade doesn't show. Close up #5 #DV-512- Red Cotton Velvet Sheath Dress - $45.00 Era - 1950s Measurements - 42inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 26 inch waist, 36 inch hips Label - Carol Brent Fabric - cotton velvet Cleaning - dry cleaned Slim, red cotton velvet dress with decorative satin buttons and bows on the front of the waist. Fitted waist, vertocal bust darts, narrow skirt with kick pleat in the back. Unlined with metal back zipper. Condition - Very good condition, but there is a 1/4 inch dark brown spot on the mid-front of skirt and two 1/8 inch spots about 3 inches below the center of the neckline.
