#SHOE-52- Tiny Ivory Suede 1940s Shoes AS-IS -

Era - 1940s

These are a yellow-ivory now, but may have been white when new. Slipbacks - no buckles, open toe with ribbon bow.

Condition - Fair. Dirty and yellowed from age. Average wear otherwise.

I love Cheongsam dresses and the color on this was is really nice and rich. It's a dark orange rayon brocade with classic Oriental scenery. Dress has metal side zipper and frog closures across the front. Unlined.

Very tiny jacket with Mandarin-like collar, fabric covered buttons with bound buttonholes down the front. Bright turquoise with shades of blue-green flowers. Bottom two buttons are hidden. Acetate lining.

Ivory plush brim with burnt umber underside. Has light brown plush crown and ivory top. The ivories are a medium shade of ivory, not a light ivory. Has satin umber ribbon band and bow.

Soft shade of brown, in a soft velour wool. Downward brim. Brilliant orange feathers around the whole hat, with peasant feathers in the centers. Very striking.

Very cute light-bright peach blouse with backwards collar and buttons down the back, two front pockets. Peach, gold and brown floral skirt is full from pleats, attacehd orange tulle crinoline underneath, metal side zipper.

Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. The crinoline has been taken up by hand.

#VS-592- XS Red Square Dance Skirt w/Silver Trims -

Super full red skirt in a crinkley material. Has white and silver ric-rac and trims. Metal zipper. Skirt is shown with a crinoline under it, crinoline is not included and skirt can be worn without one - I just wanted to show the fullness.

Light faux mink cape in the classic style - longer front and rounded back. Brocade lining. Very nice taupe color.

#VIC-216- Thin Black Wool Slip -

Era - Edwardian
Measurements - 36 inches long, 23-1/2 inch waist, full hips
Fabric - thin woven wool

Lightweight black wool slip with fuller bottom and snaps on the side of waist.

Condition - Fair to good condition. When you hold it up to the light, you can see at least 40 small holes 1/8 to 1/4 inch in size.

#VIC-225- Golden-Brown Fitted Jacket w/Braid Trims -

Era - early 1900s
Measurements - 23 inches long, 12-1/2 inches across shoulders, 22 inch sleeves, fits 302 inch bust, 28 waist
Fabric - wool, with silk lining

Thin woven wool jacket in a golden brown with ivory silk lining. Has black metal hooks down the front, open at the very bottom. Decorative buttons down the front and on each side of the lower-front and on the cuffs of the sleeves. Has brown rayon flat trim and fancy Art Nouveau trim with black in it. Trim on the back too, along with more decorative buttons.

Condition - Good condition. There are many holes scattered in the wool. Some are up to 1/4 inch in size and some are in 1 inch clusters. The coat has some small age spots, otherwise it appears clean. The silk lining is worn and threadbare inside of the back of the neck. Still a very nice item for display. This item has not been cleaned.

#20-193- Sphinx Moire Silk Purse -

Fabric - silk moire

Really fabulous purse this was in my own collection for several years. It is a silk moire with the image of an Egyptian Sphinx and pyramids in the design of the moire. How did they do that? The sphinx is on the front and back and on the two inside panels when you open the sides. It has a strap cord which runs down each side and ends with a tassel. The cord runs through metal rings at the top and bottom on both sides of the bag. The rings have tiny marcasites on them. The bag is open in the middle, and each side unsnaps and lifts up to reveal inner compartments lined in ivory silk. There is aheavy mirror attached to the top of the ivory lining. Inside is an old make-up powder puff and a little silk bag with a snap closure and a small piece of nail file paper is on the front of the little bag, in case of broken nail emergencies! That side of the bag has several pockets and a loop for a tube of lipstick. There is also a silk moire change purse with initials done in marcasites too. The change purse is lined in white leather in where the change goes, and it also has a side that snaps open and has layered pockets for cards. There is a maker's name stamped in gold along the bottom. It's French, and I can't really read it. Finally, the other side of the bag snaps and lifts open the same as the 1st side, revealing another ivory silk lined compartment with an ivory silk change purse that is also lined in leather. There's the sphinx on that side too. Now isn't that such a cool bag! When I first saw it, I was like 'hey, is that a sphinx?' I've never seen a design done in moire like that, and I couldn't even begin to guess how they do it.

Condition - The bag is in very good condition. The outside silk nearly excellent with just a few teeny stress spots on the very bottom edge. The ivory silk lining does have some shattering on some of the pockets. The silk is shattered on the ivory chage purse. Overall it is an excellent and rare piece and can be used with care.

#VT-572- Ivory Rayon Pinstripe Blouse -

Ivory blouse with shiny narrow stripes. Buttons down the front. Tiny gathers on front of shoulders, small breast pocket, vertical darts.

Condition - Good to very good condition. This has been soaked, but it still has light aginh around the back of collar and a few small age spots. Two pinhead size sticth spots on front and sleeve.

#VS-605- Brown Linen-Like Skirt -

Era - late 1950s to early 60s
Measurements - 27 inches long, fits 26 inch waist, 38 hips
Label - Majestic
Fabric - linen-like rayon

beigey-browny linel like skirt. Has 3 open pleats on the front and the back, making the bottom of the skirt kicky and cute. Smoth over hips. Metal side zipper, unlined.

Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen.

3 full bodies brown minks, one right after the other in line. Has rayon covered ball snap closure and lead mink has clamp under mouth.

This stole is made up of 5 minks. Has rayon cord covered snap-ball on plastic chainlinks.

#VC-931- Sable Fur Collar -

Era - 1940s
Measurements - 37 inches long, from 2 to 7 inches wide

Fabric - real fur with acetate lining

Pretty fur collar that I believe is sable. It has fuller teardrop ends. Shades of light taupe to brown. Has section of black wool from previous coat on the center-back of neck.

Condition - Excellent condition. Fur is very nice, no flaws seen.

#VC-968- Fluffy Raccoon Fur Collar -

Era - 1950s
Measurements - 40 inches long, up to 5-1/2 inches wide

Fabric - raccoon fur

Fluffy brown and ivory raccon fur collar. Has cotton gauze backing.

Condition - Some fuzzy wear to fur at what would be the back of the neck area. Otherwise very good to excellent condition.

#VC-971- Three Minks Stole -

Era - 1950-60s

Fabric - mink bodies

Three full mink bodies. The two minks have had their bodies elongated by actually being 2 bodies with legs and tails in the middle and at the end! One mink has clamp under mought.

#VC-853- Black Woven Wool Coat w/Satin Trim -

Era - late 1950s to early 60s
Measurements - 38 inches long, 14 inches across shoulders, 22 inch sleeves, fits 34 inch bust with room to move, 40 hips

Fabric - thick woven wool

Dressy black wool coat with sparkley buttons. It is a nice texture woven wool with black matte satin trim on collar and faux pocket flaps. Coat is cut straight down the sides and has slit pockets. Black plastic buttons have shiny rhinestones on them. Satin lining.

Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen.

Tan, pink and reddish fruits on white background. This dress has a ruffle of fabric down the front trimmed with black ric-rac and white eyelet. The top of the sleeves are puffy and from the elbow down is fitted with trims at wrist. Full skirt is gathered into the waist. Unlined, metal zipper down the back.

Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen.

#VB-91- Basket Purse w/Flowers on Top -

Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. Item has not been cleaned, and was barely ironed.

#GIRDLE-124- High Waisted Panty Girdle -

Fabric - nylon and lycra spandex

White on white floral print spandex panty with high waist that has boning and hooks down the front. Cotton-like lining in crotch. Crotch also opens with hooks.

Era - late 1920s to 1930s
Measurements - 45 inches long, fits 36 inch bust, up to 32 inch waist and 40 hips

Fabric - cotton

Blue cotton workdress, probably for food service or for a maid. Ties and wraps around the waist. White cotton collar, two front pockets. Unlined.

Condition - Fair condition. Has not been washed. The white collar is very aged and dirty. The hem has been moved several times, leaving behind several old hem marks. Currently the hem is out totally. Has 2 2+ inch tear and staining.

#V-125- Ivory Wool Shift -

Era - late 1960s
Measurements - 37 inches long, fits 35 inch bust, 29 waist, 38 hips

Fabric - wool knit

Very nicely style, really looks like it should have a good label in it. Creamy ivory, midweight, tight knit wool. Has diagonal topstitched seams on bust. High, loose fitting seam at waist, faux pocket flaps, seam down the center of the skirt. Hand stitched nylon zipper down the back and thin silk lining.

Condition - Very good to Excellent condition, has very light 1/4 inch spot on bust and narrow 1 inch spot on lower skirt.

Nice silvertone metal bow with glass stones. Has locking c-clasp.

Fabric - real mouton fur with creped rayon lining

Very nice and very heavy brown mouton fur coat. It has big collar and folded cuff. There are hooks on the front to close it. Brown rayon crepe lining.

Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen on the fur. The brown lining has some fade streak, but is in very good strong condition.

#VC-922- Red Garbardine Coat -

Measurements - 29 inches long, 15 across shoulders, 22 inch sleeves, fits 36 inch bust, 44 at hips

Fabric - rayon gabardine with quilted acetate lining

Really nice dark red gabardine jacket with single button closure and full bottom. The button is very cool carved and clear plastic. Has pockets, shoulder pads, cuffed sleeves and quilted lining for some warmth.

Condition - Very good condition, but there are some light dirt spots on the folded egde of both cuffs.

#GLOVES-744- Navy w/Embroidered Dots -
