Dandelion Vintage Lingerie - Nightgowns page 2 Measurements that I have given for full and loose fitting nightgowns are not the actually bust measurements. I have allowed about 4 extra inches for movement and fullness. So, if the measurement on a loose fitting gown says 'fits 40 inch bust' that means the gown will fit a bust that is 40 inches around at it's fullest, and there will still be about 4 inches over the 40 inches for the loose fit. #L-403- Pale Pink Buttonfront Nightie - $24.00 Era - 1950s Measurements - 35 inches long, 14 inches across shoulders, fits 32 inch bust, 44 inches wide at hips Label - Val Mode Fabric - nylon Cleaning - machine washed and dried Pale pink, soft and semi sheer nylon nightie with white glass buttons down the front. White nylon lace collar and lace trim across the bust and the ends of the short sleeves. Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. Close up #5 #L-341- Blue Satin Nylon Nightgown - $50.00 Era - 1950s Measurements - 56 inches long, fits 39 inch bust, 32 inch waist, 52 inches wide at hips Label - none Fabric - satin nylon Cleaning - hand washed, hung to dry Pale blue, bias cut satin nightgown. White Lace trims neckline on the front and the back. White embroidery on the bodice. Has inset sheer white lace down each side of bodice. Satin ribbon tie belt. Condition - Excellent condition, just a faint spot on center-front of skirt Close up #3 \ Close up #4 #L-294- Vanity Fair Pink Nightgown - $30.00 Era - 1960s Measurements - 43 inches long, fits 36 inch bust, 29 waist, full hips Label - Vanity fair 36 (pale blue script) Fabric - nylon Pretty light pink nightgown with sheer shoulders, knotted on the top. Wide waist with curved seams under the bust. Layer of sheer on the bust and the front of the waist is embroidered. Lace trimmed neck, attached ties on the side, full skirt. Condition - Very good to excellent condition, appears to be unworn. BUT there is a 2+ inch dark pink dye spot on the upper-center of the skirt, which did not come out in washing. Close up #3 \ Close up #4 #L-296- Sheer Bright Floral Nightgown - $20.00 Era - late 1960s to early 70s. Measurements - 49 inches long, fits 32 inch bust, 36 hips Label - none Fabric - nylon Sheer bright floral in hot pink, blue, light green and orange floats over a pink nylon lining. Low front, triangle cups with empire waist and full floaty skirt. Elastic straps with elastic across the back. Condition - Excellent condition, but the floral print shrunk a few inches shorter than the lining when I washed it. Close up #3 #L-299- Green Pajamas w/Satin & Ivory Lace - $25.00 Era - 1960-70s Measurements - Top is 20 inches long, fits 33 inch bust. Bottoms are 34 inches long, fits 24 to 29 inch waist, 40 hips Label - generic - medium Fabric - nylon Cute bright green nylon top with ivory lace front, trimmed in green satin down the front, around bottom and on the ends of the sleeves. Wide neck is also trimmed in the green satin. Elastic waist pants, slightly tapered leg, trimmed in green satin at the bottom. Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. #L-383- White Nightgown with Embroidered Sheer - $32.00 Era - 1960s Measurements - 39 inches long, fits 36 inch bust, 27 waist, full hips Label - none Fabric - nylon Cleaning - Item has been machine washed and dried on gentle cycles This white nightgown has gathered layer of sheer across the bust and sheer trim on the neck and shoulders. The sheer has teeny embroidered bows. Inset lace trim, wide inset waist, loose skirt. Condition - Excellent condition, a few teeny picks. Close up #5 #L-384- Nan Flower White Nightgown with Ruffled Lace - $42.00 Era - 1950s Measurements - 55 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 30 waist, 46 inches wide at hips Label - Nan Flower Fabric - nylon Cleaning - Item has been machine washed and dried on gentle cycles This long white nightgown has fine ruffled tulle across the neck, around the back and over the shoulder straps. Straps form an X on the back. Sheer inset lace on bust, sheer flower appliques, satin tie attached at waist. Nylon is fine and soft. Condition - Very good condition. The lace on bust and straps is lightly off white from age. A few teeny scattered picks. Close up #5 #L-386- Embroidered Ivory Nightgown and Robe - $25.00 Era - 1960-70s Measurements - Nightgown is 38 inches long, fits 36 inch bust, free waist, 48 inches wide at hips. Robe is 40 inches long, fits 40 inch bust Label - none Fabric - nylon Cleaning - Item has been machine washed and dried on gentle cycles Light ivory nightgown with robe set with sheer necklines that have ivory and light brown embroidery. Short sleeves on robe are also embroidery. Two ties on the front of the robe. Condition - Excellent condition, nightgown has a few teeny picks.
