2 Hanky Bags from the 1930s - Hand painted Lavender, and Green with Lace and Ruffles
Vintage 1930s Lavender Hand Painted Hanky Bag

Fabric - acetate
Pale lavender shiny acetate folder over hanky holder. Has handpainted front with lavender and pink ribbon and flowers. Ribbon inside holds hanky.
Condition - Good to very condition. Faint scattered age spots along the top and the front.
Green Hankie or Lingerie Bag with Lace and Ruffles
6 x 8-1/2 inches. From the 1930s
3 fold, pale green acetate bag with thin batting lining. The top has ivory lace and ruffled green around the edges. Opens out flat with ribbon for holding hanky in place.
Condition - Fair condition, lightly aged all over, more so on the bottom fold. There are two large light brown water stains on the inside. There's a 1/2 inch L-shaped tear inside and several wear holes including a narrow 1/2 inch one on the front. Still a nice display piece. Hard to find color and the lace and trims are very nice.
