Label - none Fabric - creped rayon Cleaning - Dry cleaned I tried this dress on and it fit . . . so buy it before I decide to keep it! Great medium/dark blue crepe dress with buttons down the bodice and across the faux pocket flaps. 3/4 length sleeves with slight puffs in shoulders. Seams midway down the skirt open into pleats on the front and the back of the skirt, making the hem a little flirty. Unlined. Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. Label - none Fabric - creped rayon Cleaning - Dry cleaned Golden yellow crepe dress. Love it, but too snug on my hips! There are big plastic buttons down the bodice and on the pockets. Bodice actually closes with hidden snaps and there is a buttons open down the side. Collar forms tie on the front of the neck, two areas of smocking on the front of the waist. 3/4 length sleeves with big shoulder pads. Unlined. Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. Label - none, hand made Fabric - creped silk Cleaning - hand washed and hung to dry This is a handmade dress, but it is made of a lightweight silk more suitable for lingerie. It could be worn as a dress, but since it is lightly sheer, you'll need a slip under it. V-neck with gathered bust. Gathers on the top of shoulders and the top of the slightly puffed sleeves. Sleeves are tapered at ends with snap closures. Skirt is not bias cut. Snaps on the side opening. Unlined. Condition - Good condition. It has a 1 inch ring spot on the lower front, two 1+ inch spots on lower back along with some smaller spots/aging and some streaking. Close up #7 #40-360- Burgundy and Black 1940s Rayon Dress - $30.00 Era - 1940s Measurements - dress is 44 inches long, fits 38 inch bust, 29 inch waist, 39 inch hips Label - none Fabric - woven rayon brocade Cleaning - Dry cleaned Yummy. Burgundy and black dress made of a lightweight brocade. Tie neck, yoke front shoulders with glass buttons, puffed sleeves. Side snap closure. Unlined. No belt. Condition - Good condition. There are at least 20 small scattered holes over the dress, pin-dot to pin-head sized. There is a 5 inch area below the side opening where the fabric is worn thin and slightly sheer. But this wear is not visable from the outside, you can only see it when you look at the inside while holding it up to the light. Dress is very wearable. 1 glass buttons is missing. Close up #7 \ Close up #8 \ Close up #9 #40-361- 1940s Bold Silk Print Dress - $28.00 Era - 1940s Measurements - dress is 42 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 26 inch waist, fuul hips inch hips. 18 inches from shoulder to dropped skirt, 30 inches around top of skirt seam. Label - an Original Design registered by a Member of the fashion Originators Guild Fabric - silk Cleaning - Dry cleaned Great silk dress in blended stripes of yellow, blue, red, orange and gree with black and ivory scroll design over the stripes. 26 fabric loops to button down the front with a short metal zipper hidden below the loops on the front of the waist. Two small breast pockets and 2 more small pockets below the waistline. No seam at waist but shaped with seams. Dropped skirt withpleats for fullness. Dress is unlined. Condition - Good condition. There are only 3 buttons left on the front of the dress so you are going to need to find 26 matching buttons. Light discolor under the front of the arms. Two small 1/4 inch holes on bust. #40-218- Yellow Taffeta Full Slip - $25.00 Era - 1940s Measurements - 45 inches long, fits 33 inch bust, 27 waist, full hips Label - none Fabric - acetate taffeta Swishy sunny yellow taffeta full slip with fuller hem and metal side zipper. The straps do NOT adjust. There are two ruffles of taffeta around the bottom with a layer of nylon netting in between the two layers. This gives the hem of your skirt a bit of a lift. Condition - Very good condition It has been cleaned but the straps and the edges of the underarms are still a little dusty grey looking. 1+ inch brown spot above the ruffle on side of skirt and a few other light spots. Has two 1/2 inch slits below waist on the back and a 1 inch tear on front side of hip. Still perfectly fine since it is a slip. View of zipper #V-562- Blue Floral Striped Lace-Up Costume - $30.00 Era - 1940s Measurements - 52 inches long, fits 30 to 32 inch bust, 24 waist, full hips. Label - none, appears to be hand made Fabric - midweight cotton twill Really nice dress, that I think was a costume, for what I am not sure. It is made of a blue and white striped twill fabric with flowers. There is a metal zipper that starts at the waist and goes midway down the front of the skirt. The fitted bodice has holes for lacing to go in them (I used new ribbon for the photos) The top is kind of peasant style with a lightweight cotton sleeves and gathered fabric neckline with drawstring going through it. The waist seam is curved and the skirt is very full from gathers in the waist. Dress is unlined. Condition - Very good to excellent condition. Colors are a little dull from wash-n-wear. Close up #5 #40-368- Blue Rayon Print Pajamas- $30.00 Era - 1940s Measurements - Top is 23 inches long, fits 36 inch bust, 29 inch waist. Pants are 36 inches long, fits 27 to 30 inch waist, 44 inch hips Label - none Fabric - silky rayon Cleaning - Item has been hand washed and hung to dry I'd love to wear rayon or silk pajamas all day, everyday. This cute blue rayon set has the print of little Dutchgirls in brown, orange and chartruese. The top has an X back and gathered bust. Wide legged pants with elastic across the back of the waist. Condition - Good condition, shows wear and fade. The top is noticeable faded lighter than the pants and it has a few scattered pin-dot holes. The blue on the top is faded to a streaky look.
