From the late 1960s. Very nice purple and black plaid wool jacket and skirt. The jacket is cut straight and loose fitting. It has two hooks on the front of the neck, and then the rest of the jacket is open. It has 3/4 length sleeves with cuffs that are folded up. Jacket has hidden pockets on the side seams and it is lined in a thin purple polyester/taffeta.
The jacket is straight and has vertical darts for shaping. There is no waist band. It has a nylon zipper down the back, a short slit on center-back seam and thin black lining.
Condition - Both pieces are in excellent condition, but the lining of the jacket does have some fade.

Great light pink shimmy top and skirt. Made of a lightweight woven pink
rayon, both pieces are totally covered with pink sequins. Then there are beaded fringes hanging from both pieces too. Top is cut straight down the sides and opens on the back
with a metal zipper. The skirt is also straight, lined and has a metal zipper.
Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen.

This suit is a short jacket and a full a-line skirt. Super dark navy, the jacket has shoulder pads, fancy
silvertone buttons and bound button holes. The bottom edge has a border and notches, sleeves are 3/4 length. The jacket is lined in a rayon crepe. The skirt is a full a-line
with metal zipper on the back. Has a pocket with bound opening on each side. Skirt is unlined.
Condition - Very good condition. Has some iron shine. The lining
inside of the jacket has fade and a repair under the arm. The silver metal buttons look like they may have had a few tiny stones in them.
#SUIT-179- Dark blue plaid suit & a-line skirt - $18.00
Era - early 1960s Measurements - The jacket is 22 inches long, 16 shoulders, 23 sleeves, fits 36 inch bust, 33 inch waist. The skirt is 27 inches long, fits 29 waist, up to 45 inch hips. Label - none Fabric - feels like a lightweight wool blend.
This is a very dark blue on blue plaid set with slightly fitted jacket and full
a-line skirt. The jacket has shell buttons down the front, shoulder pads, pockets with flaps and blue and black print silky lining. The skirt is a-line, fuller around bottom, metal side zipper and partial
silky lining.
Condition - Good to very good condition. The skirt has a tiny pinhead hole on the mid-front. The shell buttons on the jacket have tiny ships around the
edges. The outside of the coat looks pretty good. But the lining in the jacket will need to be patched or replaced. The lining is torn and shattered in a 3 inch area on the inner back of neck. It is also
worn out and repaired under both arms with a 1/2 inch hole. Both pieces have some iron shine. Still a wearable suit.

Light blue and white wool cloth suit with open front jacket. The jacket has decorative openings down each side, bound in dark blue rayon with a small fabric covered button on each side of the
openings. Has faux pocket flaps, wide cuffs, shoulder pads and irredescent taffeta lining. The skirt is straight with metal side zipper and it is unlined.
Condition - Very good to excellent condition. Skirt has two small 1/4 inch spots, one near the zipper
and the other near a side seam.

Dark turquoise boucle wool top with v-seam down the front and opening metal zipper on the back. Cut straight and loose fitting with brown mink fur trim around the bottom.
Bracelet length sleeves also have mink trim. Lined in thin acetate. The skirt is straight, has nylon side zipper and thin acetate lining.
