Dandelion Vintage Victorian & Edwardian Clothing - page 2

If you are buying these pieces to wear, they must be worn carefully, please keep in mind that they are 80 to 100 or more years old. Most of the items are all in good condition but please read the descriptions carefully for listed flaws. I cannot guarantee the wearability of older garments like these. I cannot predict how long they will hold up with wear. I think that most of the pieces are better for display.

#VIC-232- Sheer Cotton Corset Cover - $18.00

Era - early 1900s
Measurements - 16 inches long, fits 38 inch bust
Label - none
Fabric - cotton

Handmade from very fine, sheer cotton. The bottom edge has been cut and there are remnants of silk along the seam above the cut. The crochet edge is loosely handstitched on. So this looks like this garment was in the process of being altered or made from other pieces. The opening on the back has been sewn shut. The piece is actually very wide across the back, but once you put a drawstring around the top of the crochet, it would mostly likely fit a 38 inch bust with full gathing.

Condition - Very good condition. Lightly aged, has scattered pin-dot holes. Item has not been cleaned, and was barely ironed.
