It is a thick matte black satin fabric that is actually a raincoat. Ruffled around the front of the neck and around the bottom. Slightly fuller bottom, exterior pockets, lined. Red and black flowers on white. 3 fabric covered buttons down the front. Very lightweight, no body to the fabric. Probably originally came with a dress. Condition - Very good condition. Could be pressed crisper. The center-front has a 1+ inch spot of teeny black speckles, probably from when it was originally made, picked up from the black design. Very light discolor is small area on the inside of neck. #VC-93- Unworn Blue Linen-Like Coat - $32.00 Era - 1960s Measurements - 39 inches long, 16 across shoulders, 21 inch sleeves, fits 36 inch bust, 36 waist, 44 inches at hips Label - none Fabric - linen-like weave made of 93% viscose rayon %7 silk Cleaning - dry cleaned Midweight linen-like weave. This dress was part of a set, but the dress was damaged. Doublebreasted with lavender buttons and bound button holes. Lined in white and blue acetate. Side pockets with straigh pocket flaps. Condition - Excellent condition, unworn with store and fabric tags still attached. Shoulder pads, seamless sleeves. Has name label inside 'Mrs. Anna R. Johnson' Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. Label - TJ mallo by Max Adler Fabric - olyester/cotton blend poplin Cleaning - dry cleaned Very cute reversible raincoat that is ivory on one side and navy on the other. Wrap style with belt that ties at waist. Scalloped edges on neck, lapels, cuffs and hem. Scalloped are embroidered with the opposite color thread.Doesn't feel like there is a lining between the fabric. Belt is also reversible and there are pockets on both colors. Condition - Excellent condition, the ivory side is a little dingey on the fold of the cuff. Cropped at waist and boxy with faux pockets, 3/4 length sleeves, partial lining. No collar, seamless sleeves with cuffs and thin shoulder pads. Plastic buttons with bound button holes. Faux pockets. Lined in red taffeta. Shoulder pads, bracelet length sleeves, notched waist. It has two big rayon cord covered buttons and bound button holes. Edges of collar and botton front edge have hand topstitching - nice detail.
