#DV-405- Oriental Brocade Tunic Jacket - $60.00

Era - 1940s, I think
Measurements - 34 inches long, 15 across shoulders, fits 34 inch bust, 32 waist, 44 wide at hips.
Label - older 'Made in China'
Fabric - rayon satin brocade

Very cool piece. I had a hard time with it, not knowing where it came from and trying to date it. I'm going with my gut that it is 1940s, and it has all the signs of being 40s - rayon brocade fabric with black woven satin rayon/acetate lining, older 'Made in China' label, and fiber shoulder pads. My guess is that it was the tunic top to a set of wide legged pants. Not pajamas though because this is heavier weight than pajamas, plus it is lined. Anyway, it has puffed short sleeves with rows of topstitching on the cuffs. Closes down the front with black fogs and there are more rows of topstitching around the collar and down the front edges. There are vertical darts on the back and it flairs out slightly around the bottom.

Condition - Excellent condition. No flaws seen.

Era - 1960s
Measurements - 10 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 18 inches across shoulders, 17 inch long sleeves
Label - none
Fabric - silk

Great little cropped traditional jacket in embossed turquoise silk. It has a red plastic snap on the front and then it has long ties, which I am not sure excatly how they tie, so I just have a big bow on the front. It has curved sleeves with openings on the ends. Solid white trim, thin silk lining.

Condition - Very good condition. The bottom edge of the sleeves is lightly dingy in a 3 inch line along the seam. The inside-back of neck is lightly dingy and has light wear. A few faint, small spots. Totall wearable.
