Very nice white gown that is cotton with semi sheer leaves design with a thick cotton lace on the neckline and a fine lace on the lower front of the bodice and around the top of the skirt just below the waist and again around the bottom of the top tier of the 2 layer skirt.
The bodice of the dress is lined in a cotton gauze and the gauze sleeves come out from beneather the cotton and lace sleeves. The lining continues inside of the dress to about 1/3 down the inside of the skirt, with the underlayer of the skirt starting where the gauze ends.
The lace trim around the neckline has thin wire in it for shaping. There are snaps and hooks on the back opening of the dress on the outside and on the gauze lining. Decorative faux closures on the back of the skirt. The dress should have a wide ribbon belt around the waist. There are tiny weights around the bottom of the top layer skirt.
CONDITION - The dress is in very good condition. The white is a little dull.
Belt is missing. I have not cleaned the dress, it came to me with the smell of some kind of scented spray.
The wide lace just under the waistline and around the bottom of the top layer of the skirt both have several 1 inch holes and smaller scattered holes.
A few small holes in the gauze lining. Missing a hook/snap or two.
Otherwise the dress feels sturdy.
