Fabric - Silk crepe and fine silk lining
Very small ivory silk dress with attached underskirt. There is box pleated fabric around the neck and down the front of the bodice. It looks like there was originally a center panel - probably lace - on the front of the bodice because there are hooks inside of the neckline to attached to a missing panel. The overskirt has a scalloped front and it is trimmed in the boxpleats as well. It also looks like there was once a lace or tulle layer on the skirt because there are remants of it at the waist seam. Both skirt layers hook several inches down the front. Seamless 3/4 length sleeves.
Condition - Good condition. Aside from the missing bodice piece in the front of the neckline and the possible missing lace overskirt, the silk is in good condition, only weakening that I see is in the inside of the hem. It has allover light aging, some age spots. Could use a thorough pressing/steaming.
