Striking dress that is sheer black crepe chiffon over a beige crepe lined top and sleeves. The body of the dress is black wool and it is high waisted with 4 buttons on the top of the skirt. The chiffon is gathered on the bust and the wool directly under the bust is fitted to the body.
Full length sleeves are fitted at wrists with cuffs that snap. Skirt is lined in thin black acetate.
CONDITION - Good condition, but it does have several issues
1. There are several small holes in the black chiffon, showing the beige crepe, on the inner fold of the collar, on the ends of both cuffs and on the shoulder seam.
2. Several holes in the wool, including on one of the button holes and 1/4 inch repair on the lower back. Plus about 5-6 tiny holes that are only seen when you hold the dress to the light.
3. The beige crepe lining has perspiration stains and fade under both arms along with other stains or watermarks around the underarms. This yellowish fade and water/perspiration marks do show somewhat through the black chiffon.
