#DV-375- Lace & Tulle Wedding Gown w/Bow Appliques - $50.00

Era - 1950s
Measurements - 56 inches long, 12 inches longer in the back, fits 30 inch bust, 24 inches at waist, full hips
Label - none
Fabric - nylon tulle and lace, polyester satin

The bodice has a sheer tulle neckline on the front and the back. The resy of the bodice is lace and so are the sleeves. The skirt has satin underskirt, thn a layer of tulle then the topper tulle skirt which has bow shaped appliques with sequins on them. The dress closes with buttons and loops down the back.

Condition - The dress is in very good condition with several flaws. I have not attempted to clean or repair this gown. It needs to be professionally repaired and cleaned and steamed to be worn for a real wedding. There is super-light discolor under the arms and a few holes in the lace under the arms too. The tulle on the neckline is excellent with no holes. The lace covered the buttons down the back is tearing off of a few buttons. The top layer of tulle on the skirt just needs a seam restitched at the hem. The tulle lining layer has many holes and tears in it, some several inches in size. The hem of the satin skirt is dirty, even more so on the back of the train.

#DV-378- White Satin Wedding Dress w/Bell Sleeved Jacket - $45.00

Era - late 1920s to early 30s
Measurements - Dress is 49 inches long, fits 29 inch bust, 27 waist, 32 hips. Jacket is 13 inches long, fits 31 inch bust, 13 across shoulders.
Label - none
Fabric - rayon satin

It didn't occur to me that this could actually be a nightgown set until I went to take photos of it. The fabric is a little heavier than lingerie satin, but not as heavy as some bridal satins that you see. The dress is pullover style with no opening.s It has some subtle shirring on the sides of the seamless waist. The skirt has a diamond panel in it and the bottom is wide and full bias cut. The cropped jacket has wide bell sleeves and is trimmed in lace along the open front. Both pieces are unlined.

Condition - The dress is in very good condition with several flaws. It has a few light spots. The problem with this dress is that there is a 2 inch vertocal slit in the front, jst below the bust, with a 1 inch split just above it. Goind to be tough to repair and camofaluge those tears, and I imagine the fabirc is weak there for the tears to have happened in the first place. I have not attempted to clean or repair this gown. It needs to be professionally repaired and cleaned and steamed to be worn for a real wedding.
