Very long white cotton baby Christening gown, fuller at the bottom. For a bay boy that was Christened around 1918-19. The gown has embroidered flower trim around the neck, arms and down the front. A second style of floral embroidered trim in 3 strips across the chest, across the lower front of the skirt and around the bottom of the skirt. Across the back of the waist is a 3rd style of floral embroidered cotton trim. Buttons down the back, unlined.
CONDITION: The gown is in very good condition. There are a few 1/4 inch holes on the lower front of gown and a few faint 1/4 inch spotty blue spots nearby. A tear in the lace around the neck and on one sleeve.
