Antique White Cotton Nightgown with Fancy Lace, Edwardian 1900s, 36 bust, with issues

ERA: True vintage item from the late 1800s to early 1900s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 52 inches long, it will fit a 36 inch bust with room, free waist. Shoulders are 14 inches wide and sleeves are 21 inches long. 98 inches around the hem
MATERIAL: cotton
LABEL: none, probably home sewn
CLEANING: hand washed
Long white cotton nightgown with sheer inserts on the front and sleeves and upper back. The lacey areas are narrow white cotton ric-rac with tiny crochet inside. Sections of gathered cotton too down the front. There should be buttons midway down the front.
CONDITION: The nightgown is in good condition with issues. The buttons are missing from down the front. There is separation between the crochet/ric-rac and the cotton in many areas. Some breakage in the crochet. The sleeve has multiple pin dots holes scattered over. The rest of the gown has pin dot to pin head scattered holes in the cotton. 5 inch area of brown stains midway down the back with a 1/4 inch hole below the area. Two 1+ inch brown stains on the hem. Other small speckles of spots.
