Vintage 1920s Boy's Long Black Cotton Socks Stockings, size 6-1/2 Drummer Boy Hosiery, with issues

ERA: True vintage item from the 1920s

MEASUREMENTS: the foot measures 6-1/2 inches long. Stockings are 16-1/2 inches long from top to curve of heel.
MATERIAL: cotton knit
LABEL: stamped 'Drummer Boy Hosiery Beats All' sz 6-1/2
Unworn black cotton knit long stockings or socks for boys. Old staple near the tops. These socks would have come up well over the knee.
CONDITION: Very good condition. Black has some light spots, not a dark black. There are a few tiny holes along the bottom fold. I think this is from storage rather than wear. When I put my hands in the stockings, they come out with fine black fibers on them.
