Vintage Embroidered Long Apron over Skirt, Edwardian 1900s Cotton
This piece from the early 1900s was either a fancy apron or piece to be worn over a full skirt. It is a fine white cotton with embroidery and drawn work around the bottom.
The apron is about 37 inches long, 17 inches across the front of the waist, 43 inches wide across the bottom edge. The apron was meant to be pinned in the back not tied, fits up to 28 inch waist.
Appears to be handmade, very nicely done. Has been hand washed.
The apron is in very good condition. There are 5 holes over the piece, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in size.
