Vintage Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Purse 1940s, some issues

ERA: True vintage item from the 1940s
MEASUREMENTS: The purse is about 4 x 4-1/2 inches plus strap/handle
MATERIAL: metal mesh
LABEL: stamped 'Whiting & Davis'
Small gold mesh wrist purse with fancy frame. The mesh instead of being a typical disk, is a square with raised circle in the center. Tiny design on the chain links too.
CONDITION: Very good condition but there are some links at the hinges on both sides that are broken away from the frame.
