ERA: True vintage item from the 1920s

MEASUREMENTS: The blouse is 26 inches long, 15 inches across the shoulders, 23 inch long sleeves. Fits 34 inch bust (37 inches around chest) 42 inches around the bottom

MATERIAL: creped silk chiffon

Sheer dark blue creped silk chiffon blouse with fine stitched lines. The front and the back of the neckline has ivory cotton lace. The cuffs are also lace with ruffled lace above it. There are aged silver color beads with fine ridges, the beads appear to be hand blown. The bottom of the blouse has 6 rows of tiny ruffled fabric. The blouse is pullover style with no openings, snaps on the ends of the sleeves. Blouse is unlined.

 

CONDITION: The blouse is in very good condition. There are some loose and missing beads on the front and the back of the neckline and the cuffs.

There is a 1/2 spot on the side where the fabric along the stitched line it town. A smaller unstitched spot on the other side is about 1/4 inch.

A scattering of about 10 pin dot holes on the front.

Light color marks under the arms from powder or deodorant.
