Dramatic Vintage Edwardian Plush Felt Hat with Wide Curled Brim & Feathers, with issues, 1910s 17 inches

ERA: True vintage hat from the 1910s
MEASUREMENTS: The hat will fit any size head, will need a pin to secure. The hat is 15 inches wide from side to side and 17-1/2 inches from front to back.
MATERIAL: very plush fur felt, maybe beave, feathers, satin lining
LABEL: 'Florida, patents from 1904 and 1908'

Brown-Beige-grey wide brimmed antique hat in a plush, soft fur felt. The crown is very wide 9 inches across. The brim is curled up on one side. Large black feather plumes around the other side of the hat. Inside is a stiff piece of silk fabric around the inside of the crown with opening in the top. It fits very wide on your head and will require a hat pin to secure it.

CONDITION: The hat is in good condition, with noticeable issues. There is a 1-1/4 x 1-1/2 inch hole right through the brim on the side, under the feathers. The plush is worn down to the felt base around the edges of the brim and in areas on the underside of the brim - around the large hole and across the back from wearing, and on the front on the underside of the curled brim. The top also has spots where the plush is worn down the the felt, some spots are 1 inches in size. The feathers are a soft black and one is lighter than the others.

The size of this hat is going to require an oversized box to ship. This may make the shipping costly.
