Vintage 1930s Satin Gown Bias Blue Silver with Rhinestones & Low Back, NRA Label 37 bust

MEASUREMENTS: the gown is 57 inches long, fits 36 inch bust, 30 inch waist, 36 inch hips

Silvery blue rayon satin, bias cut evening gown. It has a low cut back with rhinestone trim along the sides and fabric ruffle with rhinestone piece in the middle. The neck is high and plain on the front, gathered cap sleeves. There are 5 darts horizontal at the center of the bust and some tint gathers on the side of the bust. Bias and fitted over the hips with a trumpet bottom flairing out. There is gathered fabric along the low back as well. The dress is unlined. There are no openings on the dress, so it will be a squeeze to get into and out of. The dress is a little too big for my mannequin, I think that is why it doesn't lay nicely on the bust and stomach.

CONDITION: The dress is in very good condition, but has some issues. It needs a more thorough steaming allover and on the ruffles.
The hem is lightly dirty with small, light brown spots. There are 2 black heel scuffs on the back of the gown, above the hem.
2 inch and 1 inch light grey lines on the back, below the behind.
Light perspiration stains under each arm.
One of the ruffles over the shoulder was moved and handstitched - the hand stitching is coming out and needs to be resewn.
There are 3 rhinestones missing from the back. The rhinestone trim needs to be restitched in several areas on the back including the decoration on the ruffles. The ruffle piece also needs to be restitched to the dress.

If the dress was in excellent condition, it would be priced at about $300 or more.
