Policies

Thanks for visiting Dandelion Vintage!

Please email me with any questions regarding the items or shipping cost before placing your order. 

Returns - All sales are final, so please be sure of your purchase and ask questions before ordering. There are no exchanges or store credits. I will not accept returns for items that do not fit, for color, or for buyer's remorse. My items are accurately described & measured twice for accuracy. I stand behind my items and how I represent their age & condition. I have occasionally made honest oversights or mistakes when listing items. If that should happen, I would consider returns on a case to case basis. If you feel that an item has been misrepresented, then please contact me as soon as you receive the item and we will find a solution. 

Placing an order: Please use the secure shopping cart to place your order. The cart will take you to PayPal to make your credit card payment. If you are in the US and you would like to pay by check or money order, please email me directly. 

Shipping - I try to ship as cheaply as possible. The shipping cost is based on the weight of the items. I ship on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings by US mail. Within the US - Priority mail usually takes 2 to 4 business days, First class is 5 to 7 business days and Parcel Post mail is 7 to 10 business days. I cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date with First Class or Priority mail. Express Guaranteed 2 Day delivery is available, email me for cost (usually $25-up). 
I will email you on the day that your order ships to let you know that it is on it's way, with an estimate of delivery time. 
All items are packed with care and sent with delivery confirmation and insurance.

International purchases - I will ship anywhere in the world. Delivery usually takes 7 to 10 business days, but can occasionally take longer. Shipping cost is determined by the boxed weight of your order. Orders are payable in US funds and I accept payments through PayPal. All orders are marked as 'merchandise' on the custom forms. International customers are responsible for any customs fees that may be due on their end. 

Unclaimed/failed delivery packages that are returned to me -  Please be sure to either be present or have a secure place for your package to be left so that it doesn't end up being returned to me. Unless it is the fault of the USPS, you will be responsible for paying to have the order reshipped if it is returned to me. If you decline, the order will be refunded with a 15% restocking fee.

 

Sizing - The best thing to do is to measure yourself. I list items by the measurements that they would fit, and not by dress size. Vintage items are usually unmarked, and sizes varied before they were regulated. Please allow extra room to move when taking your measurements. If you need more detailed measuremtns, please email me.

Cleaning - Nearly everything on my website has been cleaned before it is listed. The exception would be older, delicate items. If it can get wet it has been through my washing machine or has been hand washed, which is probably 75% of my stock. Everything else has been drycleaned. I'm super sensitive to smells so nothing comes into my house before it is cleaned. Purses, hats and other accessories have either been sprayed with Lysol or wiped with disinfectant wipes.
