Here are 2 EMPTY packages for vintage stockings by McGaugh Hosiery Mills of Dallas Texas. Sold in Drugstore only, coast to coast.
They are two envelope to hold the stockings and each has an insert that the stockings would have been folded around.

CONDITION: One is in good condition, aged and wrinkled with some tears.
The other is poor condition with more aging, the front and back are torn apart from each other and there are tears around the edges.
