Vintage 1930s Long Gown Slip NRA Label, Rayon Taffeta, fits 32 bust, off white

ERA: True vintage item from the early 1930s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 55 inches long from the shoulder, it will fit a 32 inch bust, 25 inch waist, 38 inches around hips.
MATERIAL: rayon taffeta
LABEL: 'NRA made under Dress Code Authority' which dates the slip to 1933-35
CLEANING: hand washed and hung to dry
Floor length off white rayon taffeta slip for a gown. It has hooks and snaps on the side. NRA label is inside of the side opening. The straps do NOT adjust. Vertical bust darts on the front, the skirt is slightly fuller around the bottom with seamed section around the hem.

CONDITION: The slip is in very good condition with some light wear. There are a few scattered teeny holes. The fabric on one straps is split along the edge. One side of the slip has been taken is a 1 to 2 inch pinch down the sie of the bodice. It is hand stitched. Lightly off white from age.
