Vintage 1940s Straw Topper Hat with Large Bow, New York Creation label, 22 inch head

ERA: True vintage hat from the 1940s
MEASUREMENTS: The hat will fit a 22 inch head, will need a pin to secure
MATERIAL: straw, taffeta, mesh
LABEL: 'Wilshire Distinctive Models' and 'New York Creation'
Off white fine woven straw hat with brim that is wide in the front and narrows in the back. Brim is trimmed in a sheer black mesh. Black taffeta band with large bow on the front that is made of the taffeta and the stiff sheer mesh on the edges. This bow may have been added or just resewn on the inside.

CONDITION: The hat is in very good to excellent condition. There is very light discolor on the straw on the underside, where it would touch your head in the front.
