Vintage Black Straw Raffia Hat Mushroom, Gene Doris 1950s

ERA: True vintage hat from the 1950s
MEASUREMENTS: The hat will fit a 21 to 22 inch head, will need a pin to secure
MATERIAL: straw raffia on a stiff fabric base
LABEL: 'Gene Doris, New York'
Black mushroom has with shallow inner cap. Covered around the sides with layered loops of raffia and flat raffia strips on the tops.

CONDITION: The outside is excellent. But the fabric inside has some discolor on the very top, where it would have touch the previous wearer's hair. There is some light make-up residue at the front inside.
