Vintage White Cotton Nurse Bib Apron, 1940s WWII, 31 inch waist

MEASUREMENTS: 47 inches long from the shoulders, 31 inch waist, 30-1/2 inch long skirt

White cotton nurse apron from the WWII era. It was originally two pieces, but the previous owner has handstitched the bib to the skirt. They have also added snaps to the back of the straps and the waist - normally this would have all been pinned together. You could adjust the waist to a smaller size and the straps to a shorter length by moving the snaps.

CONDITION: Very good condition. Some very faint aging. A few teeny light brown speckle spots on the back strap. One strap has two 1 inch wear spots on the upper back where the spots are thready.
A few missing snaps, pencil writing inside of the waist.
