Antique Edwardian Black Cotton Dress, 1900s Day Mourning Dress, Windowpane Voile, with issues, fits 33 bust

ERA: True vintage item from the early 1900s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 54 inches long, it will fit a 33 inch bust with room, 25 inch waist, full around hips. Shoulders are 14 inches wide and sleeves are 24 inches long
MATERIAL: cotton voile
LABEL: none
Sheer black cotton voile dress with windowpane grid lines. Open n the front to below the waist. Puffed shoulders on full length sleeves, fitted waist and full skirt with small gathers. The dress is unlined.

CONDITION: The dress is in good condition, looks very nice at a glance but there are issues on the back. There are no closures on the front, needs some hook and eyes.
The back has several groups of large holes in the gathers just below the waist. The fabric here is delicate and will continue to tear. It near to be backed with another fabric and reinforced somehow. The holes cannot be sewn, they will re-tear. Some small gathered holes on the dress and some fraying along the waistband on the back.
