DAMAGED 1920s Vintage Peach Satin Dress, Shattering silk

MEASUREMENTS: The dress is 42 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 36 inch waist, 40 inches around hips. Shoulders are 15 inches across, sleeves are 23 inches long

Dark Peachy-brown silk satin dress with cream silk satin lining around the neck and cuffs on sleeves. Pullover with no openings. Pleats around the waist that hang in a gather on the side of the skirt, overlapped bodice. Unlined.

CONDITION: Fair condition. The silk is weak and splitting on the shoulders and tops of sleeves, the cream trim and under the arms. Torn in the fabric itself, not along the seams. A side seam on the skirt is splitting from dry rot. An iron on repair fabric was placed on the skirt next to the seam. May not be able to be repaired.
