Vintage 1930s DAMAGED Blue Velvet Gown, Rhinestones, 34 bust

Very dark blue, bias cut velvet gown. The dress is pullover style with no openings. Gathers on the side with rhinestone brooch, slightly draped at the back of the neck with a bow. Unlined.

CONDITION: Fair to good condition with issues. Large tears at the back of the neck under the bow - the fabric is too delicate to repair. The velvet is flat under the arms. It looks like there were alterations on the mid back, leaving behind old sewing lined that have become holes. Sections of the skirt look like they have been replaced.
