DAMAGED Vintage Silk Beach Pajamas 1930s, Shattered Silk, not wearable

MEASUREMENTS: The pajamas are 53 inches long, fits 36 inch bust, 32 inch waist, 42 inches around hips.

Bright pink silk one piece beach pajamas with wide legs. Lighter pink silk trim along the front. Snaps on the side opening and on the top of the shoulders, tie belt at the waist.

CONDITION: Poor condition, cannot be worn, cannot be repaired. Must be handled very carefully because the fabric tears easily. The shoulders are torn and shattering. Holes around the lighter pink silk. Several 1 inch holes on the behind and 2-3 inch hole on the back of each leg.

Tears around the bottoms of the legs and old repair tape ironed  around the inside of the both of the legs, all the way around each. It's a stiff white material, cannot be removed or it will tear the fabric. This repair tape was added to the piece about 30 years ago. The piece was used in car shows and fashion shows on occasion. Repairs were made to make the piece wearable. But it is beyond wearable now.

$55 may seem like a lot for a totally unwearable, damaged item. I'm basing the price on the rarity of this color silk and as a collectible item. If this piece was in excellent condition, it would be priced at over $300.
