Edwardian Brown Silk & Lace Dress, 1900s Antique Gown, Damaged, Display Study, Gold Thread Detail

ERA: True vintage item from the 1900s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 50 inches long, it will fit a 32 inch bust with room, 28 inch waist, 40 inches around hips. Shoulders are 15 inches wide and sleeves are 20 inches long.
MATERIAL: brown silk, silk lace with gold thread, silk lining in bodice
LABEL: none
Long, dark brown silk gown with ivory lace inset at the neckline. The ivory silk lace has gold thread on it. The silk sleeves has several silk rosettes on them and brown chiffon in a point on the ends of the sleeves. Band at waist and skirt is full from small gathers in the band. Folds around the skirt and some scattered rosettes. The dress snaps down the back and then around the waist. Silk crepe chiffon lining in the bodice and the skirt

CONDITION: The dress is in fair to good condition with issues. Currently not wearable.
The ivory silk lace and it's lining is very delicate and shattering beyond repair. Silk and lace would need to be replaced.
The brown silk satin is in overall good condition. The fabric is sound with no shattering, but it does have small scattered holes that can be seen when you hold the dress to the light.
The brown as allover fading from dark brown to an orange brown. Discolored under the arms. Several old small patches in the silk lining.
