Victorian Black Netting Small Shawl or Head Scarf, Velvet and Silk Fringe, DAMAGED, 1800s

MEASUREMENTS: 31 inches wide + 2 inches of fringe, 13 inches long in the back plus 2 inches of fringe.

Sheer black silk lace netting small shoulder shawl. Trimmed with narrow black velvet ribbon and 2 inch silk fringe around the bottom edges. Seam on each side. Made as a small shawl but could be used as a head scarf too. Display only, it is very delicate.

CONDITION: Fair condition. There are multiple holes in the netting. On each corner there are holes that are 1 to 2 inches in size. A 2 inch area of the netting needs to be resewn to the velvet. Smaller scattered holes in the netting. Best for use as display.
