Vintage 1920s Black Velvet Hat with Ribbon Trim by Flora Mac Mullen, 22 inch head

Black cotton velvet toque hat from the 1920s. The sides are folded up and have 1 inch wide black ribbon design around it with 3 small bows on the higher side of the hat. Wire trim around the edge of the fold. Inside there is black organdy lining around the sides that is gathered around the center. More lining in the very top of the hat. There is a stiff buckrum ring inside of the hat which is what sets on your head. There is old tissue paper stuffed around the inside of the hat.
CONDITION: The hat is in very good condition. There are some tiny brown threads showing on the side bows. The velvet is very nice. Inside of the hat - the buckrum ring has a section of buckrum ripped and missing - will not affect wearing it. Top lining is loose is an area.
