Vintage 1920s Cream & Brown Tweedy Jacket & Skirt Wool Set, Travelure Printz, fits 38 bust, 30 waist

ERA: True vintage item from the 1920s
MEASUREMENTS: The jacket is 39 inches long, fits a 38 inch bust, about 42 inches at hips. 16 inches across the shoulders and the sleeves are 23 inches long.
The skirt is 28 inches long, 30 inch waist, 40 inch hips
MATERIAL: woven wool

CLEANING: dry cleaned
The jacket has an open front and patch pockets, thin silk lining - meant for spring or fall wear. The top of the pockets are curved and they have decorative celluloid buttons down each. Decorative buttons on the back of the collar and 1 each on the end of each sleeve. No pockets.
Skirt has no outer waistband but has a stiff inner ribbon band. Snaps down the side. Curved seams on the front, unlined, slightly fuller on the bottom, no slit or kick pleats.

CONDITION: The jacket is in very good condition. There is a 7 inch line of holes and thinning of the wool down the back of one sleeve, over the elbow area.

There is a 1/3 inch hole in the silk lining along the front edge.
The skirt is in excellent condition, it has been taken in a pinch by hand on the back of the waist.
