Vintage 1920s Embroidered Wool Dress, 38 bust, Beige with Applique, with issues

ERA: True vintage item from the 1920s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 41 inches long, it will fit a 38 inch bust with room, free waist, 43 inches around hips. Shoulders are 16 inches wide and sleeves are 21 inches long
MATERIAL: woven wool
LABEL: none, appears to be home sewn
Beige and ivory woven wool fabric dress. Pullover with no side or back openings. There is an applique with embroidery on the front. A strip of fabric with grommet type decorations hang from it. There are ties on the side of the waist. Dropped waist with pleated skirt. The dress may have been unfinished - the hem is only basted and the ends of the sleeves don't have closures like snaps. The dress is unlined.

CONDITION: The dress is in good condition. There are scattered small holes in the wool and areas of fraying and splitting in the wool especially on the collar and shoulders. These areas are from 1/2 up to 2 inches.
