Vintage 1940s Blue Nurse Uniform with apron skirt & Bib, and Hat, XS 32 inch bust 1950s

ERA: True vintage item from the late 1940s to early 1950s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 40 inches long, it will fit a 32 inch bust with room, 24 inch waist, 38 inches around hips. Shoulders are 14 inches wide and sleeves are inches long.
The skirt is 29 inches long and fits to 25-1/2 inch waist

Vintage blue nurse uniform and white cotton hat/cap, apron skirt and bib. All pieces will require shank buttons to secure them, there are no buttons included. The dress buttons down the front. The bib would go over the front and pin with your own pins at the back of the waist and tucked in at the front. The apron skirt buttons at the back of the waist.
The blue dress has stiff white collar and cuffs. Fitted band at waist, 1 patch pocket. Military stripe patch on the end of one sleeves. There are labels in each of the pieces for 'Miss Aughanbaugh'.

The nurse hat or cap folds across the front and will need 2 shank buttons to hold it together in the back. - Very good, has a few tiny brown speck spots.
The 2 piece apron consists of a bib that would have been pinned in the back and tucked in at the front. Very good condition. Old pin marks on the top and bottom of both sides. The area on the back ends of the straps has old repairs and some small holes from being pinned multiple time.
The skirt needs 2 sets of shank buttons on the back. It is 29 inches long and 25-1/2 inch waist.

CONDITION: The blue dress in in very good condition with some issues. There are some small repairs and holes on the front and the back of both underarms. 1/4 inch hole on the behind.

There is a light brown 1+ inch wide age line down the front of the bodice and then across the skirt midway down. Probably from old fold lines. The white fabric and the hem are still stiff from being starched ages ago. A more thorough soaking should remove the starch and age lines.
