Vintage 1940s Brown Feather Hat Fitted Cap with Spray of Feathers, Alice Jane, 21 inch head 1930s

ERA: True vintage hat from the late 1930s to early 1940s
MEASUREMENTS: The hat will fit a 21 inch head, may need a pin to secure
MATERIAL: felt, feathers
LABEL: 'Alice Jane New York' and 'The Bon Marche, Seattle'
Cinnamon brown felt hat, fitted to the head, slightly towards the back. The brim is folded up on the front and the sides and narrows on the back. Totally covered in feathers except for the short brim in the back. Ivory feathers on the front with spray of longer feathers coming from them.

CONDITION: The hat is in very good condition. I've reglued loose feathers. The hat sounds a little crunchy from old dry glue. I can assume that some more feathers may come loose over time because of the dryness of the glue. Spot on the front has a missing feather. There are old brown glue spots on the feathers. Some wear to the felt brim around the back and some old glue spots that are a little stiff around the feathers on the rest of the brim.
