Vintage 1940s Brown Wool & Angora Coat with Beaver Fur Trim, fits 38 bust, heavy Winter, Tilly Heitner

ERA: True vintage item from the 1940s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 48 inches long, it will fit a 38 inch bust with room (42 inches around under arms) 50 inches around hips. Shoulders are 17 inches wide and sleeves are 25 inches long
MATERIAL: 85% virgin wool and 15% rabbit hair
LABEL: 'Tilly Heitner Original' and 'Forstmann'
CLEANING: Dry cleaned
Light cinnamon brown wool coat with brown sheared beaver fur collar, shoulders and pockets. Large wool covered button with stitched at the top of the neck and a hidden snap at the middle of the coat. Hanging fur collar and fur attached to the front and the back of the shoulders. Fur patch pockets. Full length sleeves with cuffs, shoulder pads and gathers in the wool across the back of the coat making it fuller. Brown rayon crepe lining with loose woven wool inner lining for warmth. The coat is heavy weight and made for winter warmth.

CONDITION: The coat is in very good condition. There is some minor wear to the edges of the fur on the pockets and collar. Light wear to the wool down the front edges. A few surface wear spots around the hem. No holes.
