Vintage 1940s Cotton Day Dress XL 44 inch bust, Black & White, with Issues

ERA: True vintage item from the late 1940s to early 1950s
MEASUREMENTS: the dress is 40 inches long, 17 inches across the shoulders, 48 inches around the chest - best suited for 44 to 45 inch bust, 42 inch waist, 49 inch hips. Skirt is 23-1/2 inches long from waist.

White cotton day dress with black and grey design. Great plus size. Sweetheart neckline with tiny pintucks. Black plastic rhinestone buttons midway down the front, to below the waist. There is a seam at the waist and loops for a belt. Black piping along neckline, ends of sleeves and on the patch pockets. The pockets also have tiny pintucks along the tops.

CONDITION: Good to very condition with some issues. Still nice for casual wear. Rhinestone is missing from a button. There is light fade and very light aging on the tops of the shoulders. The dress has been shortened and cut, it cannot be let back down.
