Vintage 1940s Dark Green Suit, Fitted Wool Gabardine, 36 bust, 28 inch waist, issues

ERA: True vintage item from the 1940s
MEASUREMENTS: the jacket is 24 inches long, it will fit a 36 inch bust with room, 30 inch waist. Shoulders are 16-1/2 inches wide and sleeves are 23 inches long. The skirt is 29 inches long, 28 inch waist, 39 inch hips

CLEANING: dry cleaned
Nicely tailored dark green wool gabardine jacket and skirt. The jacket has shoulder pads, fabric covered buttons with hand bound button holes. Decorative fabric tabs with fabric covered buttons. The ends of the full length sleeves have short folded cuffs with pointed slit and small fabric covered buttons. The 2 front seams form a piece of fabric with slight flair and small pockets inside. Rayon crepe lining.
Straight skirt with metal side zipper, unlined.

CONDITION: The jacket is in very good condition with some issues - two 1/4+ inch holes near the bottom of one sleeve and a 1/4 inch hole on the cuff of that sleeve. The other sleeve has some shallow moth nibbles in small spots at the end and on the points of the cuff. There are about 10 small 1/8 inch surface moth bites down the front of the jacket. The lining has fade.
The skirt has several small surface moth bits and 4 small holes.
