Vintage 1940s Swimsuit Light Peach Rayon Satin Bathing suit, 38 to 40 bust, Large

ERA: True vintage item from the 1940s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 22 inches long down the sides. It was hard to measure, it will fit about a 38 to 40 inch bust, 31 to 33 inch waist, 39 to 42 inches around hips. I tried on the swimsuit and my measurements are 36-1/2, 32, 41. It fit in the hips, was a little loose in the waist and at least 2 inches too big in the bust.

Light peach, midweight rayon satin swimsuit with crossing straps. The fabric has a 2 way stretch. Folded fabric on the top of the bust, modesty panel on the front and elastic around the legs. Rayon jersey lining inside the front of the swimsuit and in the crotch. Straps that cross and button on the back and short metal zipper

CONDITION: The swimsuit is in very good condition. The color is even, but it may have originally been a slightly darker shade. The elastic around the legs is very good, firm and stretchy, but the elastic on each side of the crotch doesn't have much stretch. Otherwise the swimsuit only has a few teeny age spots.
