Khaki color midweight cotton ceremonial dress home sewn by a Camp Fire Girl. There were patterns and kits to make them over the history of the Camp Fire Girls and it was part of the ritual to make your own gown for special occasions. The long dress in made in a Native American Indian style. Long suede fringe on the ends of the sleeves and around the bottom of the dress. The dress has a slit neckline. Suede panel on the bottom of the dress with purple wood beads and suede symbol emblems. Pullover style with no openings, unlined

CONDITION: The dress is in good condition. Leather is very good. The cotton is aged and has large areas and blocks of dark brown aging from storage. I have not tried to wash it due to the leather. The fabric may be discolored from being folded against the leather, so the dark areas may not clean up. Some wear to the suede emblems. Has a light musty smell from storage
