Vintage Edwardian Black Cord Coat with Embroidery, 1900s, 34 inch bust, missing lining, some damage, early Saks Label
ERA: True vintage item from the 1900s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 34 inches long, it will fit a 34 inch bust with room, 32 inch waist, 44 inches around hips. Shoulders are 16 inches wide and sleeves are 21 inches long

LABEL: 'Saks and Company, Broadway 33rd to 34th'
Black midweight lady's coat from the early 1900s. Covered with stripes of wool and rayon cord and a woven fabric with fine rayon embroidered design. It has embroidered white trim around the neckline. Large covered buttons with loops down the front. Fuller around the bottom with 2 slits on the back.
The coat has an early 'Saks' label from before the store became 'Saks Fifth Avenue' in the 1920s.
CONDITION: The coat is in good condition. The cord all looks to be in very good condition. But much of the fine thread embroidery has worn off. The full lining is missing from the coat.
