Vintage Hammered Metal Urn, 1920s, 4-1/2 inches tall, sealed empty, Monogrammed initials, Aged

Unknown aged metal urn with square body and rounded top. It is about 4-1/2 inches tall and 3 inches across the bottom. The front has the initials 'GD' in flowers etched into the metal. The top is sealed and cannot be opened. The urn is empty and unmarked. I don't know what the purpose of the urn was, but it is empty. Ashes do not dissolve so this was not used for ashes.
Very good condition. Allover aging, tarnished, has not been cleaned.
