Vintage Hand Beaded Trim with Native American Whirling Log Symbols 1920s, 22 inches long, 3/4 inch wide, Turquoise Glass Beads

Hand made Native American piece with Whirling logs in green and yellow beads on turquoise glass beads background. Are those tomahawks in the middle? They are done in brown and dark red.
The piece is 22 inches long and about 3/4 of an inch wide. Each end is finished. I'm not sure what the piece was used for. I'm guessing that it is from the 1920s or earlier.

The piece is in good condition. There are some loose threads along the center section. Some beads missing along the top and bottom edges in small spots. Beaded design is seen on both sides.
