Vintage Tooled Leather Sewing Box with Art Nouveau Lady & Flowers, Antique 1900s, 9-1/2 x 7 inches

This is a great Edwardian brown leather sewing box. Tooled leather design of an Art Nouveau lady lounging in a gown with flowers around her. Tooled flower design around the sides too, cardboard bottom. Tab with snap closure on the front. Cardboard dividers inside for your sewing stuff. Fabric lining inside of the lid for sticking in needles or pins and loops to hold tools as well. Some items that were found in the box are included. The cardboard inside does not come out.

The box is in good condition but shows wear. The leather has some wear around the edges with wear and rounding on the top and side corners. The cardboard bottom is worn around the bottom edges with paint wear. Small missing spots of leather on the edges and sides and on the inner edges. Paint and paper wear on the inner cardboard. The snap closure is broken and the fabric on the outside is torn.
