Vintage Victorian Blouse Black & White Floral Cotton, High Collar, Velvet Trim, XS 30 inch bust 1890s 1900s

ERA: True vintage item from the late 1800s to early 1900s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 18 inches long, it will fit a 30 inch bust with room, 25 inch waist. Shoulders are 11 inches wide and sleeves are 26 inches long, 7-1/4 inch cuffs which do not open. 13 inch neck
MATERIAL: cotton with velvet trim

Great black cotton fabric with white flowers. The blouse has velvet trim around the high collar, the yoke, down the front opening, around the wrists and the belt. There are no closures down the front - the collar and the belt would hold the blouse closed. The stiff collar is stitched in just a few spots to the blouse and it hooks on the front. The belt is separate from the blouse it is also stiff and hooks on the front. Nicely detailed, very well made blouse.
CONDITION: The blouse is in very good to excellent condition. The fabric is very nice and it feels like it still has some body to it and the black and white are crisp with no fade. There is some light wear inside of the back of the collar and there is a 1/2 inch tear just below the waist in the back.
