Edwardian Linen Duster Automobile Coat, 1900s, 36 bust, Peter Robinson Made in England, Royal Crest label, with issues

ERA: True vintage item from the 1910s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 53 inches long, it will fit a 36 inch bust with room, 38 inches around hips. Shoulders are 16 inches wide and sleeves are 24 inches long
MATERIAL: linen
LABEL: 'Peter Robinson, Oxford St. London'
Great long linen duster coat for a woman, large mother of pearl buttons down the front. Collar has blue trim on the buttonholes which button on the shoulders. Tabs on the ends of the sleeves also have blue trimmed button holes with 2 buttons on each sleeve. Band on the back with more blue trim and buttons. Front pockets with flaps and buttons. Unlined, opening on one side.
CONDITION: The coat is in good condition with some issues. This is a collector or display piece, not to be worn. There are small scattered splits in the linen - on the front side, small ones under an arm, on bottom and the sizes of coat.
Brown stains on the front, on a pocket and brown lines in a group on the lower back. 2 inch triangle hole on the lower front and another 2 inch hole on lower back.
The coat is beiged from age - I didn't soak it because of the splitting in the linen and I didn't want to risk ruining the silk label. Dirty around the inside of the collar at the back of the neck.
