Vintage 1920s Black Velvet Coat, Evening Jacket, 38 bust, Shirred Collar, issues

ERA: True vintage item from the 1920s to early 1930s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 37 inches long, it will fit a 38 inch bust with room, free waist, 42 inches around hips. Shoulders are 15 inches wide and sleeves are 24 inches long
MATERIAL: rayon velvet
LABEL: 'Lane Bryant' label is under the lining, in the seam of the velvet
CLEANING: dry cleaned
Black rayon evening jacket with two velvet loops and covered buttons on the front. Cut straight down the sides, full length sleeves, shirred collar, white taffeta lining.
CONDITION: Good condition. The velvet is worn bald in lined around the back of the neck at the base of the collar. There is a large curved crease on the front side of the jacket. It looks like a repair but it's just marks on the velvet. Some other scattered blemishes in the velvet, several small holes can be seen when you hold the jacket to the light, up to 1/4 inch in size.
The white lining has scattered holes and a 4 inch tear with an old repair.
